Solo & Mute
Isolate instruments to focus your mix. Solo one or many, mute what you don't need, and see silenced channels dim in the grid.
Per-Instrument Controls
Every instrument card in the right sidebar has dedicated SOLO and MUTE buttons. Click to toggle instantly during playback.
- - SOLO highlights in cyan when active, MUTE highlights in red
- - Multiple solos supported — solo several instruments at once
- - When any solo is active, all non-soloed instruments are silenced
- - Muting an instrument automatically clears its solo, and vice versa
- - Changes take effect immediately — no need to restart playback
Visual Grid Dimming
Silenced channels are dimmed to one-third brightness in the pattern grid, so you always know which instruments are active at a glance.
- - Muted and non-soloed channels dim their entire column
- - Column headers, notes, and velocity bars all respond to mute state
- - Dimming updates in real time as you toggle solo/mute
- - Makes it easy to focus on the instruments you're working on
